Magdalena Jadwiga Härtelova, M.A. (*1991) is a Czech-Sorbian curator and conflict facilitator and art producer living in Berlin. They are the co-founder of Casino for Social Medicine, a third space in Berlin’s Neukolln that is part simple coffee house, part clinic for collectivist experiences, and part mutual aid gamble. They run the Mehringplatz 20 bedroom gallery and -together with Cassie Thornton and many others- are the co-conspirator of The Hologram project, a peer-to-peer care protocol practiced from couches all over the world. Their ongoing projects involve the temporary university for post-work futures It’s All About Education, strategizing for curating towards the end of Art-as-we-know-it, and connecting with initiatives that organize for health autonomy and liberation. In addition to her art practice, she is part of two musical projects, Lightbush and the Minifridge grunge band.
